Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is excited to break ground on Northeast Alabama Community College’s Softball Complex. The project will consist of constructing an artificial turf softball field, restroom building, concession building, storage building, bullpens, and bleachers. The facility is set to be completed in 2024 for the softball team’s inaugural season in the fall of 2024.
Sports Turf Company is constructing an artificial turf softball field on campus for the Mustangs at Northeast Alabama Community College. The artificial turf system installed on the field will allow the coaches and players to practice or play in virtually any weather condition. Functionality wise, this facility will allow the Mustangs to train and practice on a surface that is consistent and durable.
“We’re excited to bring a state-of-the-art facility to the campus of Northeast Alabama Community College,” said Sports Turf Company President Todd Wiggins. “It’s an honor to not only bring a new sport to the college but provide them with a facility that will allow their athletes to showcase their athletic abilities.”
