Sports Turf to Construct Track and Field at Greenville High School

Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has been awarded the track and field facility at Greenville High School. The existing stadium field will be renovated to include an artificial turf field and 8-lane running track.

The artificial turf field for the Patriots will feature AstroTurf’s Rhino Blend Series, Brock shock pad and organic infill, BrockFILL. AstroTurf’s Rhino Blend Series is an artificial turf system that combines slit film and monofilament fibers to offer increased durability and aesthetics. The Brock shock pad is specifically engineered to optimize safety for athletes during impacts to the surface. BrockFILL is a highly engineered wood particle infill specifically designed to improve traction and reduce artificial turf heat.

Sports Turf will construct an 8-lane running track around the perimeter of the artificial turf field. Rekortan’s G13 system is a world athletics certified gel full pour system focused on reducing the stress on the athletes utilizing the surface. The 13mm surface delivers more stable force reduction over wider temperature range, which enhances the athlete’s experience with a higher energy return rate.
