Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is the proud sponsor of the Georgia High School Mr. & Ms. Football Awards. The ceremony will recognize the top athletes and coaches from the 2025 flag and tackle football seasons on Jan. 25 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Teamsters Local 728 event hall (2540 Lakewood Ave SW).

Modeled after the collegiate Heisman Trophy, this ceremony serves as the premier recognition for high school football in Georgia. The event will host five distinguished finalists to celebrate their season achievements, culminating in the presentation of the inaugural Mr. and Miss Georgia Football awards. Guests will enjoy a 'Green Carpet' experience, featuring exclusive interview and photo opportunities with the state's top-tier coaches and student-athletes.

The ceremony will feature 62 awards for football and flag football all-classification teams including:

• Assistant Coach of the Year
• Breakout Offensive and Breakout Defensive Player of the Year 
• Breakout Player of the Year
• Coach of the Year 
• Kicker of the Year
• Leading Rusher of the Year
• Mr. and Miss Georgia Football 
• Players of the Year

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Peachtree Sports Network and the WANF – Special Events channel, and can be streamed live on the Atlanta News First app.
