New East Alabama Park Installs Natural Grass Fields As Part of An Area Rejuvenation Effort

Sports Turf Company may be best known for its work with high schools and universities, but the sports construction company also has extensive recreational park credentials.
Sports Turf was selected to construct all-natural grass fields for two baseball/softball fields and one rectangle multi-purpose field for the Beulah Athletic Park Development in Valley, Ala. (located at 11061 Lee Rd.). Project completion for the park is expected during the summer of 2020.
“Our community is thrilled that this new park will provide area children a place to spend their time and develop their athletic skills,” said Lee County Administrator Roger Rendleman. “Lee County has been preparing for a facility like this for years, and we’re excited to provide our community the highest-quality fields.”
Beulah Park is the second public park that Sports Turf will construct in the area. In 2015, the company completed the Valley Sports Complex, which included five softball fields.
After the completion of the field installations, the county aims to begin Phase 2 which includes concessions, restrooms and additional fields. We are proud to be working with New Park Construction, the general contractor for the project, and Foresite Group, the project architect.
