Sports Turf to renovate Social Circle High School’s Track and Field Complex
Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has been awarded the renovation of Social Circle High School’s track and field complex. Prior to the 2026-2027 school year, Sports Turf will provide the Redskins with enhanced facilities focused on safety, durability, and performance.
“We are honored to provide Social Circle High School with updated facilities to propel their athletic programs forward,” Sports Turf Company President Todd Wiggins said. “Upon completion, this facility will equip the student-athletes with a high-quality, durable facility where they can hone their skills.”
Sports Turf Company will renovate Social Circle High School’s existing artificial turf field into a system that surpasses other systems in terms of safety, durability, and performance. The new surface will feature AstroTurf’s RootZone 3D Blend Decade turf system.
In tandem with the artificial turf replacement, Sports Turf Company will resurface the facility's existing eight-lane running track with Rekortan BSS synthetic running track surfacing. The layout of the track and field event zones will be reconfigured to improve functionality and optimize space.
