An award that recognizes a player each week during the nine-week season who was a significant stand out during competition. “We are honored to sponsor this award that recognizes the top flag football athletes in the state of Georgia,” said Sports Turf Company President Todd Wiggins. “As a company that places great importance in high school athletics, it’s beyond astounding to see the way flag football has grown and provided opportunities for girls across the state. We want to recognize and celebrate these athletes, the same way we celebrate male athletes.” Sports Turf specializes in the construction and installation of sports surfaces, including natural grass and artificial turf fields, tennis courts and track surfaces across five states, from colleges to professional venues. In addition, Sports Turf Company serves as a consultant and owners’ advocate through the entire process of selecting the best facility solutions and surfaces to meet owners’ specific needs.
