Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has completed the indoor facility field, along with two outdoor artificial turf practice fields, at Thomas County Central High School.
All three surfaces were built with student-athletes in mind, the indoor facility and outdoor practice field feature AstroTurf's 3D Decade System, a Brock SR shock pad, and organic BrockFILL infill. The Decade system is a performance turf that combines 60 oz of slit film and monofilament fibers and is backed by an industry-leading 10-year warranty. The Brock shock pad and BrockFILL work together to create a safer surface for athletes, and BrockFILL, the latest in organic infills, is sustainably grown and harvested right here in Georgia.
The indoor facility gives Yellow Jacket student-athletes a place to train year-round, no matter the weather. Sports Turf also completed two outdoor multi-purpose fields, designed to integrate seamlessly with the school's new indoor facility. These fields will be a huge asset to the athletic and band programs for the South Georgia school.
Together, the three new surfaces give Thomas County Central a complete campus of premier facilities for practice, training, and performance in every season.
