Sports Turf Completes Renovations on Two Fields for Savannah-Chatham County Schools

Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has completed two Savannah-Chatham County Schools artificial turf field renovations. The two Savannah-Chatham County Schools included:
- Islands High School – Savannah, GA
- Savannah High School- Savannah, GA
“We’re excited to complete both of these fields to better serve the athletic programs for each high school,” Sports Turf Company President Todd Wiggins said. “The economical turf system installed can withstand heavy traffic from multiple different sports, in virtually any weather condition.”
Sports Turf Company renovated the existing natural grass fields to an economical artificial turf system centered around hosting multiple sport practices, in any weather condition. The system features Astro Turf’s Rhino 42 system and include new football goal posts and new fencing to complete the renovation. Both fields will serve as multi-purpose practice fields for their respective high schools.
