Sports Turf Completes Phase II of Fulton County Schools’ Athletic Facility Renovations

Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce they have completed phase II of Fulton County schools’ athletic facility renovations. This phase included: three practice fields, one stadium replacement, three track resurfacing and one shot put + discus. These renovations took place at the following schools:

  • Cambridge High School
  • Langston Hughes High School
  • Johns Creek High School
  • Banneker High School
  • Tri-Cities High School

Sports Turf renovated the existing natural grass practice fields at all five high schools to an AstroTurf artificial turf system. The artificial turf system installed features monofilament fibers with a RootZone layer of texturized fibers for optimum durability and better shock absorbency.

“We are excited to see Phase II completed,” said Todd Wiggins, President of Sports Turf Company. “It is a privilege to work for a school system that places such a high importance on their athletic facilities for their student athletes.”

In addition, Sports Turf prides itself on serving as a consultant and owner’s advocate through the entire process of selecting the best facility drainage and surfaces to meet owners’ specific needs.
