Sports Turf Company Completes King’s Ridge Christian School Baseball Facility

Sports Turf Company, a specialty sports construction and surfacing company, is proud to announce it has completed the baseball stadium at King’s Ridge Christian School. The full scope of the project included mass grading, retaining walls, fencing, lighting, brick backstop, brick dugouts, and parking lot improvements.

“We’re honored that King’s Ridge Christian School has entrusted Sports Turf with building a project so monumental to the school and community,” Sports Turf Company President Todd Wiggins said. “This facility was built on par with a collegiate-level baseball field to further propel the Tigers’ baseball program forward.”

Sports Turf Company installed a complete under-drain system and a United States Golf Association (USGA) sand rootzone over lateral drain lines on the full-size baseball stadium for the Tigers. In addition to field work, retaining walls, fencing, lighting, a full brick backstop, dugouts and parking lot improvements completed the facility.

“I think we will have the best looking field in the state of Georgia,” Kings Ridge Christian Athletic Director Mike Power said. “It has been a real blessing thanks to Sports Turf and all of our families that contributed to it along the way.”
