“Central High School football field is undergoing current renovations. Assistant Principal Kelly Edwards said that the
project began two to three weeks ago and that the field will have new turf. Along with the work on the football field, Central High School’s field house and Roy Richards Memorial Stadium seating are also being improved. Edwards said this and several other county school renovation projects are being paid for from SPLOST revenue. “If we have perfect weather, we believe this will be a 90-day project and will be done sometime in mid-summer,” Edwards said.
